Counselling and Psychotherapy in Bristol
Most of us have times in our life when our
usual ways of coping and our usual supports or relationships
don’t seem to be working as well as they
often do.
Research has recognised the value of
psychotherapy services at these times,
advising that earlier access to these services
can reduce the need for longer- term services
and also reduce the possibility of emotional
health problems.
I am a private practitioner with over 30 years of
professional experience in a range of work settings. I am offering a confidential
psychotherapy service to people and families who want to consult about
coping with life’s challenges and changes.
One-off consultations, short or longer-
term work as requested with individual
adults, couples, families with adolescents and children or adult groups.
I am specialising in offering services to couples with concerns about health, lifestyle or communication, to families wanting to work on relationships,
to parents of adult children, to those coping with life changes, eg work changes and retirement and to partners of stressed executives.
In addition to psychotherapy I also offer coaching for those who want to enhance their life quality in terms of wellbeing or relationships.
My name is Mike Graney I am registered with the Association for Family Therapy (AFT) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

My practice in BS6 is located at the Fulcrum House at the top of Whiteladies Road, with free parking available in roads close by and over on the downs. Sessions also available in Clifton.
